Senior Manager HSE

Responsibilities

• Define corporate HSE policies and Cardinal Rules
• Standardize HSE processes across multiple sites
• Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
• Lead compliance evaluations, audit programs, and regulatory inspections
• Oversee incident investigations and root cause analysis (CAPA)
• Analyze safety performance trends including TRIR and DART
• Develop site-level HSE teams and coach plant leadership
• Establish contractor safety standards and oversee high-risk operational controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field
• 5-10 years of progressive HSE experience
• 3+ years in a leadership role
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910
• Proficiency in LOTO, MHE/Forklift compliance, Fall protection, and HAZCOM
• Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• CSP, CIH, or CHMM certifications
• ISO 45001 / 14001 Lead Auditor certification
• OSHA 500/501 trainer authorization
• Experience with HSE software platforms and KPI dashboard development
• Experience integrating newly acquired sites into a Safety Management System (SMS)
