About the role
Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and develop a new enablement team of trainers and coaches to support consultants, advisors, and specialists.
- Establish the consulting enablement roadmap and operating model from the ground up, aligning onboarding, training, and coaching with organizational growth priorities.
- Design and deliver role-based onboarding programs to accelerate time-to-productivity, including 30/60/90-day plans and apprenticeship experiences.
- Create a comprehensive training curriculum covering participant engagement, discovery, solution positioning, and consultative conversation skills.
- Implement and sustain engagement and sales systems, providing repeatable playbooks and coaching routines to ensure field consistency.
- Own lead generation and referral coaching efforts, partnering across departments to improve funnel effectiveness and conversion.
- Manage the enablement technology ecosystem, including learning platforms, playbooks, and content assets.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to ensure tools support scalable skill practice and continuous reinforcement.
- Define and monitor success metrics, such as time-to-ramp, proficiency levels, and lead quality, to drive continuous program improvement.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enablement, sales training, consulting, or revenue operations.
- Proven leadership experience building enablement programs or functions from scratch.
- Required FINRA licenses: Series 7, 63, 24, and 65/66.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Ability to travel extensively between various Vanguard sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with enablement technology platforms such as Allego.
- Deep understanding of consulting sales motions and pipeline generation practices.
