Senior Manager, Hardware and Software Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise hardware and software asset management strategy, operating model, and continuous improvement roadmap.
• Provide functional ownership of ServiceNow SAM Pro, ITAM, and Contracts, including discovery, normalization, and compliance analysis.
• Partner across IT, procurement, finance, legal, and cybersecurity to deliver a consistent global asset management function.
• Oversee the full hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, tracking, refresh, and retirement.
• Drive optimization activities such as reclamation, renewals, true-ups, and cost control initiatives.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global team while fostering strong vendor and stakeholder relationships.
• Develop executive dashboards and metrics related to compliance, spend, inventory, and risk exposure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Extensive progressive experience in IT asset management (ITAM), software asset management (SAM), or vendor management.
• Deep experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, including entitlement management and compliance reporting.
• Working experience with ServiceNow ITAM and Contracts.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and familiarity with platforms like Apptio.
• Proven experience managing software licensing, compliance, and multi-vendor environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading global teams or large-scale enterprise programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications (SAM, HAM, ITAM, or platform administration).
• Experience with major software publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, IBM, or Adobe.
• Familiarity with CMDB governance and enterprise procurement workflows.
• Experience supporting software license audits and negotiating outcomes.
• Certifications such as ITIL or IAITAM.
