Senior Manager, Government Contracts

Responsibilities

• Create and implement Verkada’s contract strategy, including research on federal, state, and regional contracts
• Develop a contract roadmap and drive implementation of strategic opportunities
• Maintain an accurate tracking system for all contracts, schedules, and purchasing agreements
• Ensure compliance with terms, conditions, and record-keeping requirements
• Analyze legal risks and escalate to legal teams when necessary
• Analyze law, regulation, and contract trends for impact on sales goals
• Train and provide guidance to management and internal sales teams on contract issues

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in state, local, and federal government contract space
• Experience managing a team of contract specialists
• Extensive knowledge of contracts including PEPPM, NASPO, CMAS, OETC, TIPS, and OMNIA
• Deep expertise in Federal contracts and experience with partners like Carahsoft
• Experience building and managing contract management tools such as Salesforce
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Austin, TX
