Senior Manager - Global Web Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of highly accomplished engineers to build and deliver customer-centric web products.
• Oversee the development of new features and iterations of existing products using modern software development methodologies.
• Partner with product managers to prioritize features and drive the web product vision based on industry trends.
• Mentor and nurture technical talent through regular feedback, 1-on-1s, and career development planning.
• Recruit and hire diverse, high-caliber web engineering talent.
• Collaborate across business units to plan and implement development schedules for major product releases.
• Promote modern software engineering principles and drive the adoption of AI-powered developer tooling.

Requirements

• Proven experience in people leadership, including coaching, mentoring, and managing technical teams.
• Strong proficiency in Web UI technologies and frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Angular.
• Demonstrated experience driving the adoption of AI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI coding agents).
• Hands-on experience architecting and building modern REST APIs.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance, customer-facing web applications.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
