Senior Manager, Global Supply Chain CapEx

Responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing strategy for capital equipment across all Redwood facilities
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle including RFQ/RFP development, negotiation, and contract execution
• Drive total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions through strategic sourcing and design-for-cost initiatives
• Build and lead a team working closely with Engineering, Finance, and Project Management
• Coordinate international and domestic equipment shipments, including customs and trade compliance
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular business reviews (QBRs)
• Develop and implement spend management policies and procurement workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive supply chain or procurement experience
• At least 4 years focused on capital equipment in manufacturing, energy, or industrial environments
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value capital equipment procurements
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Experience with international logistics, incoterms, and customs
• Strong negotiation and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree (MBA or MS in Engineering/Supply Chain)
• Experience in battery manufacturing, semiconductor, or chemical processing industries
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification
• Experience in high-growth startups or greenfield manufacturing
• Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese
• Familiarity with sustainability sourcing frameworks and conflict minerals compliance
