About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and refinement of annual global incentive compensation (IC) plans to ensure alignment with commercial strategy.
  • Develop financial simulations, modeling scenarios, and sensitivity analyses for plan evaluation.
  • Oversee annual quota-setting processes across global markets using historical performance and market potential.
  • Manage end-to-end incentive administration, including sales crediting, data integrity, and payout calculations.
  • Serve as the global owner of IC administration platforms, specifically Varicent.
  • Build dashboards and KPIs to track plan performance and deliver insights to senior leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Finance, HR, and Compliance to ensure global governance and standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Incentive Compensation, Sales Operations, or Commercial Analytics within the pharma or biotech industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in IC plan design, quota methodology, and payout modeling.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with IC administration systems like Varicent, Xactly, or comparable platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global or multi-region sales teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM environments such as Veeva or Salesforce.
  • Experience working with external data sources like IQVIA or claims data.
  • MBA or an advanced degree in analytics.
