Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Apparel

Responsibilities

• Define and execute procurement category strategies and vendor distribution roadmaps to improve margins
• Deliver product cost reductions and manage end-to-end RFP processes with international manufacturing partners
• Utilize component-level "clean sheets" to drive pricing transparency and optimize buy plan margins
• Partner with material sourcing teams and Tier 1/Tier 2 vendors to align upstream material benefits with finished goods costing
• Identify value creation opportunities through supply chain reshaping, verticalization, and volume consolidation
• Collaborate with technology teams to embed procurement capabilities into digital tools and build AI-driven RFP agents

Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within retail apparel
• Proven track record of running competitive RFP processes with international manufacturers
• Hands-on experience using clean sheets for cost negotiation
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Experience working cross-functionally with merchandising, materials, and production teams
• Technical aptitude for leveraging AI-powered platforms and LLMs for procurement automation
• Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
