About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and scale Faire’s global equity programs end-to-end, including plan design, administration, accounting, compliance, and employee experience.
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Legal, and People teams to build durable, audit-ready processes.
- Lead public company equity responsibilities, such as SEC reporting support, insider trading programs, and the design of equity-related internal controls.
- Oversee the full equity lifecycle, including grant issuance, vesting, exercises, releases, and share pool management.
- Design and optimize equity systems and workflows, specifically managing Shareworks integrations with payroll, HRIS, and financial reporting systems.
- Act as a trusted advisor for complex employee and executive equity matters.
- Proactively manage global regulatory, tax, and compliance risks across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in stock plan administration, including leadership in high-growth environments.
- Deep expertise in global equity programs and hands-on knowledge of legal, tax, and payroll considerations.
- Proven experience scaling equity programs through private-to-public readiness or public company operations.
- Experience designing and implementing an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
- Advanced analytical skills and expertise with Shareworks or equivalent equity platforms.
- Ability to influence cross-functionally and work effectively with senior leadership.
