Senior Manager Freight Cost Management

Responsibilities

• Oversee supply and demand activities for multiple complex product lines to ensure inventory and cost performance meet business needs
• Manage a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and managers supporting a global business unit
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize supply chain functions and create operational efficiencies
• Drive cost savings through process improvement, policy development, and trade compliance leadership
• Lead complex, cross-functional, and cross-regional initiatives that impact the global supply chain
• Consult with business leaders to influence strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Serve as a key liaison between internal resources and external partners to foster effective collaboration

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• 10+ years of job-related experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field
• 8-10 years of management experience leading professional teams
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, ERP systems (such as SAP), and supply chain planning

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification
• Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
