Senior Manager, Financial Data & Modeling Solutions Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end data and modeling solutions for Finance use cases, including forecasting and simulation engines.
• Partner with data engineering teams to develop robust data pipelines, transformation frameworks, and curated Finance data products.
• Enable integration across ERP/GL systems, risk platforms, and planning tools like Anaplan.
• Drive the development of automated Finance solutions, including forecast automation and anomaly detection.
• Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architecture, data governance, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., BCBS 239).
• Act as a key interface between Finance and Technology, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive Agile delivery practices for complex engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or platform engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data and modeling solutions.
• Expertise in data engineering (ETL/ELT, pipelines) and data modeling (dimensional, semantic, analytical).
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data ecosystems (warehouses, lakehouses).
• Solid understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes and regulatory reporting.
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.
• Strong engineering leadership and stakeholder management skills within large, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with planning platforms such as Anaplan.
• Experience with BI and visualization tools like Power BI or Cognos.
• Knowledge of API and system integration patterns.
