Senior Manager Finance

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to the Finance Head and serve as the primary deputy for the India finance function
• Oversee end-to-end statutory accounting, financial compliance, and regulatory filings (ROC, GST, Income Tax, etc.)
• Ensure adherence to IND AS, IFRS, local GAAP, and global policies including SOX and FCPA
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
• Drive continuous improvement through finance transformation initiatives and process automation
• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, budgeting, and forecasting support
• Manage cash flow planning, treasury oversight, and liquidity management
• Lead and mentor the finance team to build capability and a high-performance culture

Requirements

• CA or CPA certification is mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 14+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 12+ years with a Master's, or 7+ years with a Doctorate
• Deep expertise in the Indian regulatory environment and statutory accounting
• Proven experience in financial controllership and managing complex compliance frameworks
• Strong leadership experience in a matrixed, global organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
• Background working in global capability centers or multinational environments
• Experience with finance transformation projects or ERP implementations such as SAP S/4 HANA
• Strong track record in managing internal and external audits
