Senior Manager Field Applications Engineer (FAE)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical interface for strategic datacenter accounts, driving system-level power architecture engagements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of power supply FAEs supporting AI and hyperscaler customers.
• Provide expert leadership on digital multiphase power, power modules, and server-class power delivery architectures.
• Personally engage in complex customer programs, including architecture reviews, validation planning, and debug.
• Rapidly troubleshoot complex power issues using lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and electronic loads.
• Partner with Sales and Product teams to translate customer requirements into product roadmap influence.
• Manage technical program execution, tracking milestones, risks, and validation status for top accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in power electronics, digital multiphase power delivery, or related hardware systems.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience in a managerial or player/coach role.
• Deep technical expertise in power modules, digital multiphase controllers, and VRMs.
• Strong lab-based debug skills using oscilloscopes, current probes, and transient response analysis.
• Proven ability to interface directly with customers to drive complex technical issues to closure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyperscale datacenter customers, cloud service providers, or AI accelerator companies.
• Expertise in system-level power architecture for AI/ML accelerators, CPUs, or high-end networking platforms.
• Familiarity with PMBus, telemetry systems, and digitally controlled multiphase power solutions.
• Demonstrated success in developing early-career engineers and building high-performance technical teams.
