Senior Manager, Facilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, performance, and day-to-day operations of the Facilities function
• Oversee maintenance and operation of building systems, utilities, and facility infrastructure including HVAC and lighting
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing facilities team
• Manage facility-related capital and expense projects, including budget and contractor coordination
• Lead commissioning and startup readiness activities for facility systems and utilities
• Develop and manage turnover plans, acceptance criteria, and readiness checklists
• Review and accept turnover documentation such as as-built drawings and O&M manuals
• Support CMMS readiness and ensure asset information is complete
• Develop and track KPIs related to facilities performance and maintenance execution
• Maintain compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Own energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of experience in facilities, plant engineering, commissioning, or maintenance in complex manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience leading facilities operations in fast-paced environments
• Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or turnover activities
• Strong understanding of handover documentation management
• Experience with capital project execution and contractor management
• Familiarity with building management systems and facility controls
• Ability to travel approximately 30% to support multiple US sites
• Ability to lift materials and work in office, industrial, and outdoor environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in advanced manufacturing, battery, semiconductor, or chemical processing environments
• Experience supporting large-scale facility expansions or complex project handovers
• Experience working across facilities, construction, and engineering teams in high-growth organizations
