Senior Manager External Supply Onboarding

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies for onboarding new Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), including market analysis, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Design and implement end-to-end product integration strategies from deal closure to market readiness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to establish project plans and timelines that ensure an uninterrupted supply chain.
• Manage the RFQ process, including documentation preparation, supplier offer analysis, and pricing negotiation.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Supply, and Quality departments to review supply chain stability and mitigate risks.
• Support technology transfer processes and oversee the introduction of new CDMOs.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planner).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German proficiency at a B1 level.
