Senior Manager – European/EMEA Billing

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end billing processes for multiple European and EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local tax and contractual terms.
• Manage the monthly invoicing cycle, including credit notes, adjustments, and complex billing cases.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of billing analysts and specialists based in Hyderabad.
• Partner with FP&A, accounting, sales operations, and legal teams to support month-end close and ensure contract compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance billing efficiency and system accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, SOX controls, and internal audit requirements.
• Provide management reports and insights into billing performance and key KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• MBA, CA (Inter/Final), or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in billing.
• 2+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Direct experience managing European/EMEA billing operations and familiarity with regional tax/VAT.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise billing or ERP systems (e.g., SuiteBilling, ZoneBilling).
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with BI reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in European and EMEA languages such as German, French, Dutch, or Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a global stakeholder environment.
