Senior Manager, Enterprise Security

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise security strategy, roadmap, and execution, covering identity, endpoints, SaaS, and corporate network security.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of enterprise security engineers.
• Architect and operate Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust frameworks, including SSO, MFA, and access lifecycle management.
• Manage endpoint security programs, including EDR, MDM, and device compliance across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Drive SaaS security posture management and third-party risk assessments.
• Automate security workflows, such as onboarding/offboarding and access reviews, using code-driven systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with IT, Legal, Compliance, and People teams to implement durable technical controls.
• Define and execute security strategies for corporate AI adoption and governance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise security, identity security, or corporate security engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a management capacity.
• Deep expertise in IAM and Zero Trust architectures (SSO, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM).
• Proficiency in endpoint security tooling, including EDR and MDM.
• Fluency in securing cloud-native environments such as GCP or AWS.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model with a minimum of 3 days per week in the San Francisco office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or scaling an enterprise security function from 0 to 1 at a high-growth startup.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare (HIPAA), fintech, or life sciences (SOC 2, HITRUST).
• Experience applying Generative AI to security operations or automating security tasks.
