Senior Manager, Enterprise Data

About the Company

Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for the data platform (Databricks, Fivetran, dbt) and AI tooling
• Own AI strategy, including vendor evaluation and RAG evaluation
• Lead technical delivery of ION-Ramp integration, dashboards, and AI tools
• Mentor DevOps and Data Platform Engineers
• Coordinate with Software Engineering on shared Databricks infrastructure
• Ensure all technical decisions meet ITAR/EAR compliance requirements

Requirements

• 7+ years of software or data engineering experience
• Hands-on AI/ML experience
• Deep understanding of the AI landscape and RAG architectures
• Experience designing data platform architectures (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)
• Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills
• Ability to work 100% onsite in El Segundo, CA
• Eligibility for access to export-controlled information under ITAR/EAR

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in hardware, aerospace, or defense industries
• Experience shipping AI products in a production environment
• Experience with data integration tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, or dbt
• Experience in regulated environments (SOC 2, FedRAMP, ITAR)
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
