Senior Manager Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive projects from idea formulation to design and implementation
• Drive great partnership with the product management team
• Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and deliverables
• Grow and build a strong, healthy and diverse team through hiring, mentoring and coaching
• Collaborate with other engineering and cross functional teams
• Provide strong technical leadership to the team and partner teams
• Enable the data science organization, business groups, and engineering teams to build comprehensive analytics quickly and effectively

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in distributed systems, including data warehouse or data infrastructure software development
• 5+ years of experience building and leading teams to process petabytes of data and real-time event streaming
• Strong track record of delivering large scale and resilient distributed systems and services
• Extensive development experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong hands-on skills with ability to dive deep into complex system design
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Machine Learning (ML)
