About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, development, and optimization of AEM and Contentful platforms to deliver scalable digital experiences.
- Manage a team of developers, architects, and content authors to deliver best-in-class digital solutions.
- Define the AEM roadmap and drive governance around content management and component design.
- Oversee AEM architecture, configuration, and integrations with Adobe Experience Cloud tools like Analytics, Target, and DAM.
- Partner with marketing, design, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
- Manage vendor relationships with Adobe and third-party partners, including project timelines and resource allocation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8-12+ years of experience in web content management or digital experience platforms.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM as a Cloud Service).
- Proven experience leading and managing technical engineering teams.
- Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, JCR, and Sightly/HTL.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and Cloud Manager.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and headless CMS architecture.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and web performance optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Sites Architect, Developer, or Business Practitioner).
- Project Management certifications such as PMP or Scrum Master.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
