Senior Manager, EHS

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the EHS and security strategy across Charlotte facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHA, OIT, and ISO standards.
• Manage a team of two direct reports and oversee an operational budget of $1M.
• Drive performance of key safety metrics including TRIR and LTIR.
• Supervise audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations using tools like 5 Whys and Ishikawa.
• Oversee corporate and physical security programs, including access control, CCTV, and crisis management.
• Direct environmental and sustainability programs, including waste management, recycling, and permit reporting (stormwater, air emissions, etc.).
• Develop and deploy global EHS&S training materials and communication campaigns.
• Lead emergency response and business continuity planning for site-wide incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of EHS experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong expertise in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and environmental compliance.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex EHS programs.
• Deep understanding of environmental, safety, and health regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean & Six Sigma Certification.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or OSHA 30-Hour Certification.
• ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor training.
