Senior Manager, Direct Taxation

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Direct tax and transfer pricing functions for Nissan Motor India Private Limited and related group companies
• Oversee tax compliances including annual tax returns, income tax audit reports, and transfer pricing audit reports
• Manage withholding tax compliances, including TDS, TCS, and foreign remittances (Form 15CA/CB)
• Handle transfer pricing compliances, including drafting TP study reports and CbCR filings
• Provide end-to-end support for tax assessments, rectifications, and replies to tax notices
• Manage corporate tax and transfer pricing litigations before various judicial authorities
• Advise management on tax optimization, strategies, and risk mitigation
• Manage group tax accounting, including current and deferred taxes for monthly reporting
• Establish and improve tax management systems and internal controls
• Lead and motivate the tax team while collaborating with cross-functional business units and external consultants

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant qualification
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 7+ years of post-qualification experience in taxation
• Proven experience working within a large Multinational Corporation (MNC)
• Deep expertise in corporate taxation, international taxation, and transfer pricing
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
