Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end web measurement infrastructure, including data layer specification and Tealium tag governance.
- Author and maintain the canonical data layer schema across web properties.
- Manage the enterprise Tealium iQ implementation, including tag library health and deployment strategy.
- Define instrumentation strategies for web and mobile web properties to support product and marketing decisions.
- Oversee the marketing tag ecosystem and ensure compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.
- Manage the Amplitude digital analytics platform, including governance, adoption, and SDK integration.
- Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 individual contributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in digital analytics, web measurement, or marketing technology.
- 3–5 years in a formal people management role.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Tealium iQ.
- Proven experience owning a data layer at enterprise scale.
- Expert-level understanding of web instrumentation, JavaScript event tracking, and SPA patterns.
- Fluency in marketing tagging ecosystems (Paid Search, Social, Affiliate).
- Hands-on experience with Amplitude.
- Working knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for debugging and custom tag code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with consent management platforms (OneTrust, Cookiebot).
- Familiarity with server-side tagging architectures.
- Experience with Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager.
- Exposure to session replay tools (FullStory, Heap) or A/B testing platforms.
- Experience in cybersecurity or consumer privacy-focused environments.
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
