Senior Manager, DevOps Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers across enterprise tools, finance tools, engineering development processes, and software deployment
• Drive best practices for AWS Cloud based architecture and development
• Collaborate with project leaders and team members to meet mission objectives
• Work directly with Security and IT for policy assurance
• Develop and support pipelines including automation for containers, data management, and release solutions
• Automate software deployments using virtual machines, Kubernetes, Cloud environments, and bare metal servers
• Lead Agile sprints and associated activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
• 1-3 years of software engineering or DevOps management experience
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and Counterintelligence Polygraph
• 10+ years of experience architecting AWS cloud solutions (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, CloudWatch, or S3)
• Experience with DevOps tools like Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, or Artifactory
• Ability to design and deliver IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker
• Experience with cloud network resources (VPC, DNS, ACLs, routing tables)
• Background in scripting with Java, Python, Terraform, or Bash
• Proficiency in Linux system administration
• CompTIA Security+ certification (or in pursuit)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations
• Experience with database administration (MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL)
• Experience with AWS ElastiCache for Redis
• Expertise in Git command line
• Familiarity with Information Security frameworks (CIS, NIST, or RFC2196)
• Familiarity with Software Systems Security (ATO, CtF, or RMF)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
