Senior Manager, Developer Relations

Snowflake's mission is to mobilize the world’s data as the AI Data Cloud. We provide AI and developer products including Notebooks, Streamlit, and App Runtime to integrate into the daily workflows of developers and data teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the developer strategy for AI & Developer tools and shape the developer point of view for emerging product areas.
• Connect market shifts, developer behavior, and customer demand to influence product direction.
• Produce and review production-quality adoption assets including reference apps, quickstarts, demos, and deep-dive guides.
• Lead multi-team launch adoption motions and build durable infrastructure like repos, workshops, and field kits.
• Run developer-signal loops to synthesize community and usage data into product feedback.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Developer Advocates, owning hiring and career development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Developer Experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing or mentoring technical/DevRel teams.
• Strong hands-on technical foundation with the ability to build and debug real demos.
• Working fluency with modern AI development, including LLMs, RAG, agents, and function calling.
• Solid grounding in data and analytics workflows such as SQL, ELT/ETL, and dbt.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for technical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake or other cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with the Snowflake developer ecosystem (Streamlit, Cortex, etc.).
• Recognized community standing as a committer, maintainer, or foundation participant.
• Prior experience as a software, data, or ML/AI engineer.
