Senior Manager Design/Delivery - Public Realm

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, mobilization, and delivery of Public Realm projects, ensuring integration with wider city and program strategies.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from design through construction to handover, ensuring quality, safety, and performance targets are met.
• Manage Engineering and Design Management Plans and lead governance and design review processes.
• Coordinate technical assurance activities and ensure consistency across hardscape, softscape, lighting, security, and wayfinding.
• Manage interfaces between internal teams, delivery partners, and contractors to achieve integrated outcomes.
• Monitor program performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures to maintain schedule, cost, and quality.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, driving a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance, contractual obligations, safety requirements, and ethical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale multidisciplinary and Public Realm projects.
• Proven experience delivering Public Realm projects across both design and construction phases.
• Strong consultant and contractor management capability.
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary project teams in complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Experience working in the Middle East or on giga/mega projects.
• Experience in infrastructure and city-scale delivery.
• Experience working within integrated client or PMC delivery environments.
