Senior Manager - Design Engineering (IP)

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process for third-party IPs used in data center SoC programs
• Maintain an IP roadmap aligned with program planning, technology evolution, and product strategy
• Serve as the primary point of contact and technical liaison for all IP vendors throughout the engagement lifecycle
• Manage vendor execution, delivery schedules, performance metrics, and service agreements
• Ensure internal requirements for performance, power, latency, and security are captured in SoWs and IP specifications
• Coordinate the delivery of high-quality IP, including RTL, testbench, documentation, and performance data
• Manage the lifecycle of IP versions across multiple programs, including maintenance, upgrades, and security updates

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of industry experience in Product and IP management
• Experience with PCIe, CXL, or DDR (DDR4/5, LPDDR) memory subsystem IPs, or storage subsystem technologies
• Strong understanding of digital IP blocks and SoC development workflows
• Familiarity with vendor ecosystems such as Synopsys, Cadence, Arm, Rambus, or ProteanTec
• Proven experience with external IP vendors, SoWs, licensing models, and contract negotiations
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills
