Senior Manager, Delivery Project Management

Responsibilities

• Implement project management best practices across the technology functional area
• Manage complex technology projects involving internal and external stakeholders
• Establish project plans and standard delivery mechanisms for applications, cybersecurity, and telecommunications
• Lead special projects and key initiatives for the 2028 Summer Games
• Track, coordinate, plan, and report on technical work across multiple teams
• Standardize processes, documentation, knowledge management, and collaboration practices
• Maintain project documentation and templates within SharePoint
• Collaborate with functional areas like Sport and Broadcast to align schedules
• Coordinate with the Strategic PMO team on organization-wide principles
• Contribute to the development and implementation of change management practices

Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years of related work experience in technology or sports-related project management
• Demonstrated track record of managing complex, time-sensitive projects
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven leadership and ability to motivate team members
• Ability to manage multiple large-scale tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Experience working within a complex, cross-functional organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to design and implement processes and manage change effectively
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification
• Certified Scrum Master
• Other PMI designation
• Experience with Smartsheet
