About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Deal Desk function for EMEA markets (UK&I, France, DACH, Benelux) and Mexico
  • Partner with senior leadership across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to influence deal outcomes and achieve financial goals
  • Design and maintain commercial strategies, policies, and downstream processes to support various Sales segments
  • Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team of people managers and individual contributors
  • Refine deal review processes and documentation for both standard and non-standard transactions
  • Utilize data and real-time reporting to identify improvements and communicate business results to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or equivalent roles
  • Proven experience in complex deal negotiations and business acumen to translate financial goals into strategy
  • Demonstrated track record of managing and developing talent and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and establish recurring performance reporting
  • Proficiency in CRM, CPQ, and CLM tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing a Deal Desk or Commercial Management team within a high-growth SaaS business ($1B+ ARR)
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite
  • Expertise in deal management, contract management, and pricing optimization
