About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Deal Desk function for EMEA markets (UK&I, France, DACH, Benelux) and Mexico
- Partner with senior leadership across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to influence deal outcomes and achieve financial goals
- Design and maintain commercial strategies, policies, and downstream processes to support various Sales segments
- Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team of people managers and individual contributors
- Refine deal review processes and documentation for both standard and non-standard transactions
- Utilize data and real-time reporting to identify improvements and communicate business results to stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or equivalent roles
- Proven experience in complex deal negotiations and business acumen to translate financial goals into strategy
- Demonstrated track record of managing and developing talent and leading high-performing teams
- Strong ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and establish recurring performance reporting
- Proficiency in CRM, CPQ, and CLM tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a Deal Desk or Commercial Management team within a high-growth SaaS business ($1B+ ARR)
- Proficiency in Salesforce and NetSuite
- Expertise in deal management, contract management, and pricing optimization
