Senior Manager, Data Systems Operations

Responsibilities

• Manage operations for a portfolio of over 30 applications and services related to Data, Analytics, AI, and Automation
• Lead a distributed team of internal and external systems engineers to provide 24x7 platform technical support
• Oversee all operational aspects of the data portfolio, including availability, performance, scalability, resiliency, security, and compliance
• Lead incident management for production outages, orchestrating troubleshooting and remediation activities
• Manage the application development lifecycle to ensure timely resolution of platform defects and enhancement requests
• Partner with Business and Solution Architects to identify opportunities for improved service agility and availability
• Manage vendor performance against Key Performance Indicators and contractual terms
• Mentor and develop direct reports through career pathing and effective training plans

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in technology management
• 7+ years of experience leading engineering and operations teams supporting enterprise data and analytics platforms
• Hands-on DevOps experience in development and operations support for data platforms
• Experience with highly scalable, enterprise, cloud-based data platforms
• Proven experience managing distributed teams, including onshore and offshore resources
• Deep understanding of security and compliance protocols
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing Finance data systems
• Proficiency with SAP technologies (S/4, HANA, BW, BDC, SLT)
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience managing SOX controls
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML and utilizing AI to optimize daily work processes
