Senior Manager, Data Science & AI

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing, distributed team of Data Scientists across the US and EMEA
• Own the design and deployment of production-grade ML models and AI agents using BigQuery and Vertex AI
• Define and execute a Data Science and AI roadmap integrating LLMs, GenAI, and classical ML into core business functions
• Design agentic workflows and AI copilots for business KPI monitoring and automated root-cause exploration
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle for predictive models including problem framing, feature design, and MLOps
• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Governance teams
• Translate ambiguous business problems into tractable technical solutions for executive stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years in Data Science or Machine Learning
• 3+ years in a formal leadership role managing technical teams
• Proven track record of deploying AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes
• Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and prompt chaining
• Significant, recent experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Vertex AI, BigQuery ML)
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Practical knowledge of MLOps patterns including CI/CD and model monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
• Experience with dbt and Glean
