Senior Manager, Data Product

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of data products, from requirement gathering to overseeing development and launch
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, creating detailed user stories and defining acceptance criteria
• Work closely with developer leads and architects to scope, estimate, and break down technical tasks
• Act as the primary point of contact for business users to understand their needs and pain points
• Engage in rapid prototyping and validation cycles with end-users to ensure high-quality user experience
• Participate actively in all agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Maintain high standards for quality and ensure adherence to the Bank’s risk appetite and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services product innovation delivery
• Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, analytics, and software development processes
• Deep experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Proficiency in managing backlogs using tools like Jira or Confluence
• Degree in Business, Engineering, or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data platforms or data modeling
• Proven ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into actionable development tasks
• Strong business acumen regarding financial services industry trends
