Senior Manager - Data Platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers to manage, maintain, and secure enterprise-scale Data and AI platforms.
• Provide strategic direction and align team goals with the Data & AI technology roadmap.
• Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders across Security, Cloud Ops, and Data Governance.
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure platform stability, scalability, and security.
• Oversee incident management, including response, communication, and conducting root-cause analysis.
• Drive process improvements through automation, observability, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, security scans, and act as a liaison for internal and external audits.
• Oversee financial planning, including budget management, vendor licensing, and SOWs.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience in large, global organizations.
• 5+ years of experience leading large, diverse technical teams.
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise-scale data platforms in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
• Proven experience in incident management, monitoring, and troubleshooting complex systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Management, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
