Senior Manager - Cyber Security Engineers

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional squads of security engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting career development reviews
• Own the technical execution lifecycle for cybersecurity engineering projects, including sprint planning and resource capacity
• Supervise the deployment and integration of core security technologies such as IAM, network security, and cloud security controls
• Ensure all engineering outputs align with corporate policies and cybersecurity frameworks
• Act as the primary operational liaison between engineering teams, senior leadership, and external client stakeholders
• Mentor and coach future leaders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and resilience

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or infrastructure engineering
• 3+ years of experience in formal team management or a delivery lead role
• Documented experience working within regulated tier-1 or tier-2 banking institutions
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum or waterfall project management methodologies
• Practical knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, or CIS Benchmarks
• Experience in a client-facing consultancy or professional services capacity

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP
• Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe)
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD security pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience managing OpEx and CapEx budgets for technical tooling and headcount
