Senior Manager, Customer Insights - Surgery

Responsibilities

• Lead the Insights & Analytics agenda for key BD Surgery platforms to enable long-term growth.
• Design and execute primary and secondary research programs to uncover unmet needs and guide product development.
• Partner with Marketing, R&D, and Business Development to build integrated learning plans.
• Translate complex research into strategic recommendations for portfolio strategy, pricing, and innovation roadmaps.
• Provide market foresight by anticipating technology shifts, competitive trends, and healthcare economics.
• Communicate insights through influential storytelling, leveraging dashboards and executive-level narratives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 6 years of experience in Customer Insights, Marketing Research, or Strategic Analytics.
• Proven experience executing and synthesizing both primary and secondary research.
• Deep command of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proficiency with advanced analytics, including MaxDiff, TURF, and choice-based methods.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to apply research through a commercial lens.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or OTC industries.
• Experience conducting global research.
