About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of culture marketing partner management and activation, including celebrities, artists, and fashion designers within Japan.
- Own the overall Culture Marketing portfolio strategy creation based on local brand priorities.
- Define and manage a partner portfolio across fashion designers, musicians, and celebrities.
- Lead endorsement contract negotiations and ensure all contract governance and compliance procedures are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for global EIM regarding talent activation within Japan.
- Drive high-impact collaboration pipelines for product creation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Manage, train, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee showroom operations, including product forecasting, ordering, and maintaining premium conditions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships within Japan’s entertainment, streetwear, art, and fashion circles.
Requirements
- Four-year college or university degree in Marketing, advertising, or a related field.
- 8 to 10 years of Marketing experience, specifically within Sports, Entertainment, or Brand Marketing.
- Fluency in Japanese.
- Business-level proficiency in English.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with legal teams.
- Proven project management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Deep knowledge and awareness of the art, design, fashion, and entertainment industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network of fashion designers and creative directors.
- Experience working directly with key global markets or regions.
