About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide counterparty credit risk oversight, including reporting and analysis of risk metrics.
  • Perform independent quantitative and qualitative analysis of counterparty risk, including wrong-way risk, collateral quality, and liquidity risks.
  • Monitor exposure arising from OTC derivatives and securities financing transactions.
  • Lead and develop direct reports through coaching and performance management.
  • Act as an advisor to Credit Officers regarding distressed counterparties and emerging risks.
  • Support Executive-level, Board, and regulatory reporting of counterparty risk.
  • Manage the development of reporting systems and business intelligence tools.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Management, Credit, Banking, and Front Office stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of direct experience in market risk and/or credit risk of traded products.
  • Advanced knowledge of derivative products valuation, trading businesses, and markets.
  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams in a complex environment.
  • University degree in a business-related field.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Excellent grasp of counterparty credit risk metrics and underlying drivers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA or FRM certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, Python, SQL, and Unix.
