Senior Manager Corporate Affairs - DACH

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end corporate affairs function for the DACH cluster (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
• Develop and implement policies to drive business objectives and engage with policymakers and regulators.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with government ministries, trade bodies, and influential NGOs.
• Shape and protect Haleon’s corporate reputation across the DACH markets.
• Lead integrated multi-channel communication strategies, including proactive and reactive media engagement.
• Develop and lead issues and crisis management frameworks to mitigate reputation risk.
• Deliver compelling internal communications to drive culture and employee engagement.
• Establish KPIs and data-driven frameworks to measure communication effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of end-to-end Corporate Affairs experience, including communications and government affairs.
• Full professional proficiency in both German and English (written and verbal).
• University Degree (BSc) or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Proven experience in government relations, policy advocacy, and influencing national policymaking.
• Demonstrated experience in issues and crisis management.
• Experience working within a global matrixed organization, ideally in FMCG or Healthcare.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
