About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of site development and construction professionals, providing coaching and performance oversight.
- Own the delivery of project scope, including budget, schedule, risk, and quality outcomes for large-scale campus developments.
- Oversee project execution from early site preparation and environmental remediation through vertical construction.
- Serve as the primary owner representative with architects, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, including cash flow and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to construction, site conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, real estate, or a related field (equivalent relevant experience may be considered).
- 10–15+ years of experience in construction management, site development, or real estate development.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale projects with budgets of $50M+.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Deep understanding of environmental remediation, permitting, and early site preparation processes.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA or similar).
- Ability to travel up to 50% for company summits, conferences, and site visits.
