Senior Manager Construction, Self Perform Electrical

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the electrical and mechanical self-perform organization, including construction, budget, and cash management
• Develop and manage schedules, project procedures, staffing requirements, and equipment resources
• Oversee construction scheduling and coordination to identify scope conflicts or constructability issues
• Ensure project safety reviews and procedures are followed through weekly checks and meetings
• Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and procurement
• Lead project closeout procedures, contract paperwork, and project debrief cycles
• Manage existing plant modifications and scope additions under shutdown schedule environments

Requirements

• 20+ years of experience in construction supervision
• 15+ years of experience managing field personnel
• 10+ years of electrical construction experience as both a tradesman and supervisor
• Experience managing multiple field crews for electrical and process piping scopes
• Extensive experience with industrial and commercial MEP systems
• Experience in plant shutdown scheduling and coordination
• Advanced knowledge of Procore and MS Office (Excel)
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or other scheduling software
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like climbing and standing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• Strong ability to identify, track, and manage project risk
• Proven ability to coach and mentor project personnel
