Senior Manager Compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee regulatory compliance and AML/CTF obligations for a diverse portfolio of client mandates across the region
• Act as a trusted outsourced Compliance Officer and MLRO for clients
• Draft, implement, and manage robust compliance and AML frameworks and training programs
• Coordinate internal and external audits, conduct compliance reviews, and remediate control weaknesses
• Deliver training on compliance, AML, and governance topics to build client awareness
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and representing the firm at industry events
• Communicate compliance risks and obligations to senior management and regulatory authorities
• Mentor and coach junior team members to support firm culture and people development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or Accountancy
• Minimum 8 years of overall industry experience
• At least 4 years of experience in Compliance roles within Financial Services
• Proven experience with regulatory frameworks such as DFSA, ADGM, QFCRA, FCA, or CMA
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing compliance programs

Preferred Qualifications

• CAMS, CISI, or ICA professional qualifications
