About the role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end compensation cycle execution, including data maintenance, market benchmarking, and pay equity initiatives.
- Lead and manage benefits programs, including open enrollment, plan administration, renewals, and broker relationship management.
- Manage benefit audits and required filings such as ACA and 5500 in partnership with external advisors.
- Design and deliver clear, engaging employee communications and training regarding compensation and benefits.
- Partner with Finance, Talent, and HR Business Partners to support headcount planning, leveling, and performance management.
- Support the development of leveling frameworks and compensation infrastructure as the company scales.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, ideally within a high-growth tech environment.
- Deep expertise in US benefits plan design and compliance (ACA, COBRA, ERISA).
- Strong understanding of compensation practices, including market benchmarking and pay equity analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail regarding data accuracy and regulatory filings.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Talent teams.
- Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA, five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI tools to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
- A UX-oriented mindset focused on how policies and programs feel to employees.
- Experience managing complex relationships with multiple external vendors.
