Senior Manager, Commissioning

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of Commissioning Managers and Engineers across multiple concurrent projects
• Oversee commissioning execution for data center builds, expansions, and retrofits
• Implement and uphold company commissioning standards, templates, and workflows
• Oversee third-party commissioning agents and coordinate with design, construction, and operations stakeholders
• Review and approve commissioning documentation including test procedures, scripts, MOPs, and acceptance criteria
• Ensure integrated system testing for critical MEP and BMS/EPMS infrastructure is executed to standard
• Track and report on commissioning progress, milestones, and risks
• Capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement and reduce time-to-market
• Enforce safety, compliance, and quality control throughout the commissioning lifecycle

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in commissioning data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams or programs
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and controls integration (BMS/EPMS)
• Experience coordinating with general contractors, OEMs, and third-party commissioning firms
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
• Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 50% travel)

• PE license
• CxA certification
