About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of Commissioning Managers and Engineers across multiple concurrent projects
- Oversee commissioning execution for data center builds, expansions, and retrofits
- Implement and uphold company commissioning standards, templates, and workflows
- Oversee third-party commissioning agents and coordinate with design, construction, and operations stakeholders
- Review and approve commissioning documentation including test procedures, scripts, MOPs, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure integrated system testing for critical MEP and BMS/EPMS infrastructure is executed to standard
- Track and report on commissioning progress, milestones, and risks
- Capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement and reduce time-to-market
- Enforce safety, compliance, and quality control throughout the commissioning lifecycle
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in commissioning data centers, mission-critical facilities, or large-scale infrastructure
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams or programs
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and controls integration (BMS/EPMS)
- Experience coordinating with general contractors, OEMs, and third-party commissioning firms
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 50% travel)
