Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy

Responsibilities

• Define the path for existing ingredient technologies in human markets by scoping and prioritizing opportunities
• Define market structure, pricing segments, and end-consumer willingness-to-pay
• Own customer discovery for prospective opportunities through relationship building and industry presence
• Define final ingredient concepts, including positioning, claims, unit economics, and regulatory implications
• Identify and prioritize new ingredient development opportunities across pet and human markets
• Develop opportunities from concept to clear commercial specifications for technical handoff
• Collaborate with the technical team to set clinical study targets and prioritize claims

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in strategy, product innovation, or commercial roles
• Background in top-tier consulting, CPG, consumer products, or biotech/ingredients
• Proficiency in market sizing, opportunity quantification, and unit economics
• Technical or scientific fluency to partner effectively with technical teams
• AI-native working style with proficiency in prompt engineering and agentic tools
• Strong analytical framework and project management rigor
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in CPG or biotech/ingredient industries
• Proven ability to move between high-level strategy and detailed analysis
