Senior Manager, Cloud Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of DevOps and platform engineers across multiple geographies.
• Own the reliability, scalability, and security of Conga’s AWS cloud infrastructure, including EKS clusters, EC2 fleets, and database platforms.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline strategy and execution to ensure fast, safe, and repeatable deployments.
• Define and enforce change management standards, including approval workflows and rollback procedures.
• Build and maintain the observability stack to provide actionable insight into platform health via monitoring, alerting, and logging.
• Establish and track SLOs/SLIs and lead incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Partner with Security teams to harden infrastructure and maintain compliance posture.
• Drive infrastructure cost optimization through capacity planning and resource lifecycle management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles within a SaaS environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing and developing engineering teams.
• Deep, production-hardened experience with AWS (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi).
• Proven experience building and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating TiDB or other distributed NewSQL databases on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud security posture management tools (e.g., Wiz, Prisma Cloud).
• Experience migrating legacy application servers (JBoss/WildFly) to containerized deployments.
• Experience with Azure in addition to AWS.
