About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop drug supply planning strategies and manage supplies for all phases of clinical trials (Phase I-IV).
- Act as the primary point of contact and client advocate for clinical supply chain management.
- Interpret clinical protocols to determine drug and ancillary supply requirements, packaging, and labeling design.
- Build drug projections and create supply plans considering production plans, retest dates, and expiration dating.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Packaging Project Managers and Distribution Project Managers, to establish production and logistics strategies.
- Support Interactive Response Technology (IRT) design, setup, maintenance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Monitor inventory levels at both depot and site levels and proactively resolve clinical supply issues or risks.
- Manage and track contract budgets and initiate Change Orders as required.
- Coordinate drug return, accountability, and destruction processes, providing final reports to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 5-10 years of related experience or training.
- Strong mathematical skills and high-level reasoning abilities to interpret technical instructions and data.
- Intermediate computer proficiency with the ability to navigate various software programs.
- Full professional English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical supply chain management at a Sponsor company or Clinical Research Organization (CRO).
- Working knowledge of general project management processes and tools.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively within client team structures.
