Senior Manager, Chemical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Footwear Manufacturing Engineering network to drive projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Manage and develop a direct team of subject matter experts, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration
• Partner with leadership to expand Chemical Engineering and Product Testing capabilities across the extended network
• Collaborate with global teammates, factory partners, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and functional best practices
• Engage in strategic presentations, workshops, and vendor discussions across Innovation, Materials, and Sustainability disciplines
• Manage weekly and seasonal priorities alongside an annual engagement calendar with factory partners

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science preferred)
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant professional experience
• 4+ years of experience in a team leadership or people management role
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and related business applications
• Ability to travel up to 10% and work across global time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience within the footwear industry
• Experience from adjacent industries such as chemical vendors or manufacturing partners
• Proven track record of managing complex supplier and vendor relationships
