Senior Manager Cabin Development

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee strategic technical programs for the development and delivery of future generation cabin interiors
• Establish technical standards and specifications for seats, cabin interiors, systems, and galleys
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including cabin design organizations, aircraft manufacturers, and suppliers
• Direct the Cabin development team to ensure products meet specifications, quality standards, and budget requirements
• Manage requirement changes and monitor impacts on weight, cost, and schedule throughout the development cycle
• Lead, coach, and develop the Technical Product Development team through performance management and training
• Plan and manage the budget for technical product development costs

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent qualification
• 10 years of job-related experience in Technical Commercial Aviation, Airline Engineering, or Product Development
• Strong knowledge of Aviation Regulations (GCAA CARs, ICAO, IOSA, etc.)
• Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
• Proven experience in project management and technical contracts/procurement
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal project management qualification
• Formal training in airframe and cabin equipment
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment and managing multiple simultaneous projects
