Senior Manager, Business Banking Lending Acquisition

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end Business Banking lending acquisition strategies using advanced decision tree and segmentation platforms
• Lead the design and calibration of adjudication strategies across digital, branch, and centralized underwriting channels
• Act as a designated model user, integrating risk models, scores, and behavioral indicators into acquisition strategy logic
• Execute structured champion-challenger testing to evaluate new acquisition treatments and credit-policy variations
• Collaborate with Technology and Analytics teams to translate strategy logic into automated, deployable decision rules
• Monitor acquisition funnel performance, including approval rates, booking quality, and early-life risk performance
• Ensure all strategies comply with credit policy, regulatory expectations, and model-governance standards

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Business Banking lending, specifically focused on acquisition, adjudication, or credit-strategy design
• Advanced understanding of business credit risk modelling and financial analysis
• Proficiency with decision engines and analytical tools such as FICO, SAS, or ARGOSS
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data insights into executable strategies
• Deep knowledge of credit policy, regulatory frameworks, and model governance
