Senior Manager, Application Engineering Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery, operational health, and platform reliability for Portfolio Experiences
• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams, including Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Senior Engineers
• Drive delivery and production readiness for platforms such as Portfolio Watch and Portfolio Health Check
• Provide system-level technical leadership, aligning architecture and delivery across internal and partner teams
• Partner with Product, UX, Data, and Platform teams to translate technology decisions into measurable business impact
• Champion consistent engineering standards, DevOps practices, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Build, mentor, and coach high-performing teams to develop future technical and people leaders

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong expertise in modern full-stack development (React, Node.js, GraphQL/REST, and JavaScript ecosystems)
• Proven experience leading large-scale, client-facing digital platforms in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platforms and distributed system architectures
• 7+ years of experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or Lean)
• Experience with micro frontend architecture and scalable web platforms
